The Electoral Commission has concluded a two-day induction and briefing programme for its members, including newly appointed Commissioners Ms Nicola Vuetilovoni and Ms Raumanu Georgina Pranjivan.

The programme provided Commissioners with an overview of the Commission’s mandate and responsibilities, Fiji’s electoral framework and the electoral cycle.

A key focus was the Commission’s newly approved Rules and Procedures, providing Commissioners with insights into the governance and procedural framework that guides the conduct of the Commission’s business and the discharge of its responsibilities.
